Methods of IF
16:8 – This is probably the most popular option, this method allows you to eat for 8 hours and fast for 16 hours. This can be done as often as possible and can be done every day of the week.
5:2 – This protocol requires you to eat how you usually do for 5 days out of the week. Then 2 alternate days of the week when you would fast for 24 hours. If it's easier on your system you can have a low amount of calories on the fasted days–up to 500-600 calories.
Warrior Diet – This is a tougher one where you go 24 hours between eating. You can have just one large meal at the end of every fasting day.
Eat-Stop-Eat/24-Hour – This is similar to 5:2, except that you fast for 24 hours once or twice a week. You don’t consume any calories on the fasting day. But you can have only water, coffee, or tea.
